The Fishing Merletto is an unusual fishing net, that embraces all the sweet and harmonious art of the merletto (lace) workmanship, of embroidery, of trina; it is the expression of feelings, sensitivity and love for a job handed down in time, like fishing that, like embroidery, is a ritual of love and patience. The fishermen take care of their nets and they darn it with feminine passion and meticulousness, like a woman embroiderer would do with her delicate merletti. In the whole, there isn’t an embroidery that is superior to the others, the manufacture is assorted of embroidery and trine, each one being the synonymous to a detail that makes it special, precious, as is the sea: The Fishing Merletto represents the preciousness of the sea, of the marine life, represents the acting of a humanity that has to be more responsible, sensible and that has to take care of this marvelous dowry that is handed down since millenniums. The fishing net kills fish, The Fishing Merletto takes care of them.
